HARARE – Bona Nyepudzai Ouma Mugabe has filed for divorce from husband Simbarashe Mutsahuni Chikore after their 2013 fairytale wedding, according to a court papers.
Bona, 32, is the first born of the late former President Robert Mugabe with his widow, Grace.
Court filing reveals couple living apart for last 9 months after losing ‘all love and affection for each other’
A filing at the Harare High Court on Tuesday said Bona was seeking an order for a decree of divorce from her 46-year-old husband.
“The parties have lost all love and affection for each other and have been living apart for a period in excess of nine months,” her lawyers said.
The couple have three children from their marriage, two boys aged 7 and 5 and a girl aged 2.
