HARARE – Controversial justice fugitive Kenneth Raydon Sharpe’s Pokugara Properties managing director Michael John Van Blerk who is facing serious charge of perjury after destroying a show house in the leafy surburb of Borrowedale worthy US$300.000 has a desperate bid to delay trial proceedings.
Van Blerk’s lawyer Tawanda Zhuwarara told th Court that he is not feeling well he wants to see a medical doctor and applied for the matter to be postponed to the 21st of April for continuation.
Zhuwarara’s condact has been describe as a move to delay court proceedings where the chief witness in the matter has nailed the controversial Pokugara Properties MD
Van Blerk, through his lawyer Advocate Zhuwarara pleaded not guilt to the charges and subsequently filed an application of exception to quash the charges saying they do not constitute an offense in terms of section 178 of the Criminal Procedure and Evidence Act.
Sharpe is currently at large and he is facing a litany of charges at the Harare Magistrate Courts.
