HARARE – ZANU PF Harare province has delegated some of its members to camp at Johane Masowe eChishanu eNyenyedzi led by Madzibaba Enock in Budiriro 4.

The team is currently issuing party cards to the congregants in a bid to mobilize the five million vote target in the looming presidential election.

The church spokesperson Madzibaba Kudakwashe Mvuma confirmed the exercise.

“We welcomed a team of ZANU PF delegation at our church who are currently giving party cards to our congregants, they have bern here for two days and so far close to a thousand have been issued the party cards,” Madzibaba Mvuma said.

Melisa Murwira a resident of Budiriro 4 blasted the exercise saying it was not fair to other political parties.

“What we witnessed today at Madzibaba Enock’s shrine is not fair yes we know the church leader is ZANU PF but forcing every congregant to join ZANU PF is not good since he commands a huge following it is not fair to other political parties,” Murwira said.

However, political parties are now in campaign mood and the March 26 by election has gathered momentum with every political party hitting the ground on campaigns.
