Ken Sharpe’s Henchmen Van Blerk Back In Court.

He is facing criminal cases of pejury and malicious damage to property worthy US$ 300 000.

HARARE – Justice fugitive Kenneth Raydon Sharpe’s owned Pokugara Properties managing director Michael John Van Blerk back in court Tuesday and Wednesday, were he is facing serious charges of pergury and malicious damage to property.

For several occasions, Van Blerk was said to be suffering from a condition known as catatonic seizure and has twice been assessed by a government medical officer at Parirenyatwa general hospital.

Van Blerk is now fit to stand for trial despite being on wheelchair.

In October, Van Blerk failed to appear again at the Harare Magistrate Courts after it emerged that he was involved in a horse ride accident and unable to navigate stairs into the courtroom.

Together with his alleged accomplices, “at large” Kenneth Raydon Sharpe, Mandla Marlone Ndebele, as well as suspended Harare Town Clerk Hosiah Chisango, Isaiah Zvenyika Chawatama, Samuel Nyabezi and Lasten Taonezvi, are accused of acting in common purpose to destroy a show house constructed by land developer George Katsimberis in 2018 worthy US$300.000.

Katsimberis had entered into a botched land deal with controversial fugitive from justice Sharpe who owns Pokugara Properties.

Van Blerk is being charged in his personal capacity as well as the Pokugara Properties official while on the same grounds Chisango has been removed from representing the City of Harare since he remains suspended.

They destroyed the show house on the pretext that Katsimberis had constructed the show house without council approved architectural plans yet the plans were issued from the City of Harare.

Sharpe is currently at large and believed to be hiding in Mauritius, he is facing a litany of charges before the Courts raging from money laundering, fraud and shoddy land dealings in Harare worthy nearly US$2 billion.

Prosecutor Zivanai Macharaga from the Special Anti-Corruption Unit ( SACU) is representing the State.
