High Court Sheriff In US$205 million Fraudulent Land Transfer Deal with Controversial Land Baron Ken Sharpe’s Company

HARARE – High Court Sherrif, McDuff Madega is in the eye of a storm after he transferred over 274 hectares of land belonging to the President of Zimbabwe to a company owned by controversial land baron and justice fugitive Kenneth Raydon Sharpe without the Deed of Grant.
Madega is currently on the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) radar after he abused his position to fraudulently sell private properties attached by the courts.
According to the sworn documents seen by The Harare Times dated 20th of January 2020 Madega transfered vast tracks of prime land with a photocopy of Deeds to Ken Sharpe’s shelf company Doorex Properties Private Limited.
“I am the Sheriff for Zimbawe granted the powers to transfer certain 273 2923 hectares of land called stand 654 Pomona Township situate in the District of Salisbury held under Deed of Grant No. 2884/2010 dated 1st July 2010 to Doorex Properties (Private) Limited ( Company Registration No. 81/ 2009).
Madega is accused of working with a cartel of people from his offices, auctioneers and officials at deeds office to target properties attached by the courts.
The transfer of stand number 654 Pomona Township measuring nearly 274 hectares of prime land to Doorex Properties as payment for the construction of the unfinished Airport road by Ken Sharpe’s Augur Investments.
Doorex Properties is owned by controversial ken Sharpe who is currently evading justice in Zimbabwe after he connived with City of Harare officials to destroy a show house built by Harare land developer Georgios Katsimberis at the corner of Teviotdale and Whitwell Road, Borrowdale worthy US$300 000.

In an almost similar style to the numerous cases , Madega used his power to push through the transfer of land to Sharpe’s company without a Deed of Grant to use as required by the law but opt to use photocopy.
This followed the failure by Local Government, Public Works and National Housing minister July Moyo to avail a Deed of Grant to enable to the transfer to be done.
He then instructed the Registrar of Deeds to use photocopies of the Deed of Grant instead of the original document which was not available.
“I hereby certify that the Second Respondent Minister of Local Government, Public Works and National Housing on behalf of The President of Zimbabwe as per case HC 4528/19 has failed to avail the said Deed of Grant No 2884/2010 dated 1st July 2010 to enable transfer to proceed.
“I hereby apply that the Registrar of Deeds proceeds with the transfer using a copy for judicial purposes only in terms of the abovementioned legislation,” wrote Madega in a Deed of Transfer document in the hands of this Publication.

The actual secret Dead of settlement was signed by controversial “drama queen”, Augur Investments Chief Operations Officer, Russian Lady Tatiana Aleshina and then City of Harare Mayor Herbert Gomba and suspended Town Clerk Hosiah Chisango at the behest of Local government Minister July Moyo.
