ZESA disconnects Morton Jeffery water works over debt

Residents are facing water shortages at a time the country is  battling to curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.

Zimbawe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) has disconnected electricity at Harare’s main water treatment plant at Morton Jeffery water works in Norton over debt arrears, the City council has announced the on their Twitter handle.

According to information gathered by this publication reviewed that the corrupt Harare City Council’s electricity bill is nearly ZWL$1billion.
