Speaking over the same issue, Secretary for Health Dr David Parirenyatwa noted that continued testing and observance of the guidelines is necessary.
“We are now ambassadors that this vaccine is safe and we must continue with the routine of testing and following the health guidelines of social distancing, washing of hands and wearing of masks.”

“I feel nothing at all after taking the vaccine. We must believe in the scientific world which has registered positive results and I would like to encourage war veterans like myself who are the most vulnerable to take the vaccine along with their families,” said Cde Mahiya.
Cde Chirau said “I feel no difference after taking the jab. We need to achieve herd immunity and this is through vaccination. It is either we prevent by vaccination or we perish.”
